Are you wondering what the Minister of External Affairs does? Paul Wong has this to say: The position of External Affairs requires you to be people-savvy. Duties start from day one and range from handling eager students waiting to fundraise, to dealing with concerned parents. However, these tasks aren't limited to the beginning of the year - any rumour that the job is done after September is hearsay. Moreover, the duties of the External Minister vary greatly as time progresses. You approve clubs, distribute funds, host President's Council Meetings and regulate poster rules. This position isn't an easy one, to say the least. Other non-quantifiable tasks include managing relationships with club presidents and constantly communicating with STUCO teacher advisors. You are expected to be an active participant at STUCO events and contribute your share of ideas to Student Council. Those with time management skills, high retention for complaints, and a passion for clubs at RHHS, are highly suited for the position of the Minister of External Affairs. Good Luck! |
